Mechanical Draughtsperson - Pretoria
Minimum Requirements Certificate or Diploma in technical drawing. Experience and understanding of Microsoft Office packages. Minimum 2-5 years proven working experience in the engineering field, specifically 2D/3D draughting of Understanding of various drawing file types and format exchanges. Ability to streamline existing workflows or improve process efficiencies. Experience in Revit 3D modelling, Generate 3D models of infrastructure design within the Engineering Design context, for marketing, project or design related purposes. Develop and generate plans, sections, elevations, and details from 3D models within the BIM context. Extract engineering data and metadata from 3D models within the BIM context when required. Role Responsibilities Preparation, finalizing, issuing (using appropriate platforms) and managing the filing of Mechanical design and related drawings. Understanding/incorporating/implementing applicable drawing standards related to different clients and disciplines. Developing and managing drawing standard pro formal’s and ensuring the implementation there-of. Compilation of various types of drawings by various disciplines and ensuring a high level of quality control is maintained.
