Mechanical Engineer - Cape Town City Centre
Knowledge of HVAC, fresh air, make-up air, smoke extraction, etc., is required
Demonstrated above-average problem-solving abilities and adeptness in prioritizing deadlines are essential
To submit plans to council for approval
Work on designs, specifications, drawings, and pricing info
Has above average communication skills
Attend meetings and site visits
Understanding of commissioning of projects
Skills & Experience:
Experience of 3 to 5 years minimum is required
Proficiency in AutoCAD is necessary
Familiarity with Revit is beneficial
Competence in utilizing pertinent design software for mechanical engineering is expected
Understanding of SANS building codes is essential
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary
Qualification:
Mechanical Engineering degree (BSc or BTech) is essential
Registered with ECSA is a requirement
Drivers license
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
