Reference: NES017994-CM-1My client is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in vehicles to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design and development of various vehicle components and systems, contributing to the advancement of our products. Responsibilities include: Responsibilities include: Designing and engineering vehicle components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing design concepts to ensure functionality, performance, and manufacturability Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to develop innovative solutions Performing detailed calculations, simulations, and stress analyses to validate designs and optimize performance Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design reports Participating in prototype development, testing, and validation activities, both in the lab and on the field Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in vehicle design and engineering Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred Proven experience (X years) in mechanical design, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for design and analysis Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including chassis, powertrain, suspension, and body structure Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing vehicle design and safety (e.g., FMVSS, ECE, ISO) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
