Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Foreman - Mining Industry - North West Location: North West, South Africa Industry: Mining Reporting to: Engineering Manager Job Overview: Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Foreman to join their team in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mining equipment and machinery. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff Plan and schedule maintenance activities for mining equipment and machinery Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, and implement solutions to prevent downtime Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and materials Provide training and mentorship to junior staff Prepare reports and documentation on maintenance activities and equipment performance Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices Requirements: Grade 12 Trade Test Certificate Knowledge of Plant operations and Plant Equipment 5 years of experience in the mining industry with 2 years in a Foreman capacity Benefits: Salary: R800K-R900K per month Family Responsibility Leave (if applicable) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at [Email Address Removed].com Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
