Reporting to: PHCN HOD TB Key Performance Areas/ Description of Duties: - Provide comprehensive medical care to patients at the TB clinic - Governance and risk management - Records management and reporting - Continuous improvement Qualifications: - MBChB - A diploma in HIV management would be an advantage. - Current registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner. Experience - A minimum of 3 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner. - Experience in managing HIV and TB patients is essential - Experience in the Primary Health Care environment will be advantageous Requirements: Technical Skills - Good people skills. - Attention to detail - Analytical skills - Customer service skills - Exceptional communication skills - Intermediate to advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Experience with MS Access and REDCap advantageous - Report writing
