About the job Medical Receptionist & Admin Assistant, Orthopaedic Practice - Centurion Medical Receptionist & Administrative Assistant, Orthopaedic Practice Centurion Our client, an Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Centurion, is seeking to recruit a medical receptionist who will attend to all the necessary responsibilities with professionalism and excellent patient care. Requirements: Greet and assist patients in a courteous and kind manner, whether in person or telephonically. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records. Attend to patient enquiries. Run an efficient diary and appointment schedule. Show empathy towards patients and anticipate patients' anxieties. Efficient filing and retrieving of patient records. Maintain practice inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies Attend to patient emergencies. General administration and personal assistant tasks. Co-ordinate theatre lists, bookings and liaise with the necessary key personnel. Qualification: Matric At least 3 - 5 years experience in a similar medical receptionist position Experience within an orthopaedic practice is an advantage Medical software experience with GoodX will be an advantage Microsoft office suite experience and computer literate Skills and attributes: Passionate and dynamic Ability to multitask Excellent telephonic communication skills Customer service orientated Good time management Excellent organisational skills Attention to detail Professionalism Quality focussed Passionate about patient care.
