This is the job for you We are currently seeking an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer for a UAE project. As an MEP Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in MEP engineering, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage complex projects effectively. Responsibilities: Lead the design and engineering of MEP systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP systems meet project requirements and standards. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and assess existing MEP systems. Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems with architectural and structural elements. Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs (Requests for Information) during the construction phase. Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure MEP systems are installed correctly and function as intended. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP engineering. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems. Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience with sustainable design practices and energy efficiency initiatives is a plus.
