We are looking for a Merchandiser – Retail Sales based in Polokwane. About the role To maintain the standard required by the company within each store and ensure maximum exposure of the brand, thereby assisting in the sales and merchandising of products for the defined area. Adhering to a route list ensuring regular calling and merchandising on existing customers Upholding the merchandising standards set by the company. regarding safety, category management, maximum product exposure To secure and maintain shelf space (market share) as well as the negotiation of additional secondary space either on a shelf or in a display Maintenance of customer relationships Control and Maintenance of POS material and Merchandising tools Erecting of displays Reporting on and monitoring of opposition activity to representative and Sales Manager Reporting on buying patterns/concerns/occurrences experienced in-store Assist in promotional activity and the supporting of promoters in-store Fluidra is a workplace where everyone can develop. National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed) Minimum of 1-year experience in FMCG merchandising/sales environment Initiative and creativity Good Communication skills Thorough and accurate Time management Ability to work alone as and when required The ability to use Public Transport to get to certain areas as and when required High achievement orientation Excellent people skills Concern for order, quality and accuracy High customer service orientation Target driven Team player Fluidra is a workplace where everyone can develop.
