Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Metal Accountant to join a reputable Mining company based in Gauteng. As the Metal Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of metal accounting and reporting for the company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mining accounting and a deep understanding of metal accounting principles. Responsibilities Manage the metal accounting process for the company's operations Ensure accurate and timely recording of metal production, inventory, and sales Perform reconciliations of metal inventory and sales Prepare metal accounting reports and analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to metal accounting Requirements Bachelor's degree / BTech in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering 3 years' PGM plant experience Extensive knowledge and experience of Mass and Metal Balancing, Metal Control for PGM and Base Metals Strong knowledge of metal accounting principles and practices Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Based in Gauteng or willing to relocate Benefits Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
