Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Mid-weight Graphic Designer with experience in print and motion graphics to join their team based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation of visual assets for both print and digital/social media, including but not limited to advertisements, brochures, social media graphics, and animations
Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop concepts that align with project objectives and client expectations
Execute design concepts from start to finish, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet brand guidelines and project specifications
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and motion graphics to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to gather feedback, incorporate revisions, and meet project deadlines
Be able to take ideas from concept to completion

Requirements

5+ years of agency experience in a similar role
National Diploma, HND or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design - or related field. (South African equivalent)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
