Job Title: MIG Welder Location: Uk Dalton Job Type: Full-time, Contract (3 years) Working Hours: 46 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Friday: 7:00 am to 1:00 pm 30 minutes unpaid lunch break and 2 x 15-minute tea breaks daily Responsibilities: Welding Operations: Conduct MIG welding operations as per specifications. Ensure proper setup and operation of MIG welding equipment. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Adhere to project specifications and standards. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines during welding activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with safety standards. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions promptly. Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including engineers and fabricators. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues Job Requirements: Qualified trade-tested welder. Successful completion of the MIG welding test. Proficiency in WPS135/FW/2 and WPS121/BW/1 welding procedures. Extensive experience in similar welding jobs. Other Requirements: Valid passport.
