My client has an opportunity for a Miller, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the process in the mill is managed from raw material intake, conditioning, de-germination, basic maintenance, and milling quality product as per agreed specification into final product bins. Will be part of the Food Safety Management team and Safety team. Communicate settings as per mandate for adjustments to the Head Miller/Operations Manager. Ensure full traceability of all products through the milling process. Ensure deep cleaning is performed as per schedule. Ensure all products are milled to specification. Ensure mix back stock is controlled using FIFO, infestation, and quality. Ensure that products are packed out accordingly to packing and flushed as per flushing requirements, quality and weight specifications complied with. Matric and a Trade Tested Miller Qualified as per GMF. Minimum 5 years' experience as Qualified Miller with extensive milling experience, milling mealies. Fumigation and Grading experience. Experience on PLC's. Market related.
