Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a Millwright in the packaging industry, based in Gauteng. As a Millwright, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment in the packaging facility. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance on packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve overall equipment performance and efficiency Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge Requirements Trade Tested Millwright or equivalent qualification Proven experience as a Millwright in the packaging industry Strong knowledge of packaging machinery and equipment Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues Excellent mechanical and electrical skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals High attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license Benefits Salary negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.
