My client is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Millwright to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.Responsibilities:Assemble, install, and repair machinery and equipment according to blueprints and technical specificationsPerform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues and determine the best course of action for repairInspect and test machinery to ensure it meets safety and performance standardsConduct routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing parts, and adjusting machinery settingsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with company safety regulations and guidelinesMaintain accurate records of work performed and parts usedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience working as a MillwrightStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of industry safety standards and regulationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical manualsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience working on processing lines, specifically cut-to-length lines, is a requirementProficiency in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), particularly Siemens S7 models, is a requirementPrior experience working in the Steel Industry is highly preferredWillingness to work in a variety of conditions, including high temperatures and confined spacesValid driver's licenseAdditional Information:This position may require occasional travel to different job sitesOvertime hours may be required, especially during peak production timesContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Salary: negotiableOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Rebecca Grylls, Kayla Pelser, or Miné Roux at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: manufacturinghireresolve.za.comIf you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience.
