Reference: CPT002489-AK-1 A dynamic leader in the printing sector is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Millwright. The Millwright will report to the Engineering Manager Responsibilities: Read and interpret machine drawings to identify any problems Repairing of machinery as and when required (inclusive of breakdowns) Service of machinery as per service guides Lubricate machinery as and when required Fitment of parts Ordering spares required to ensure machinery is maintained at an optimal condition Conduct preventative and routine maintenance as per machine guides Ensure that company tools and equipment are kept in a good condition Assist with production maintenance Assist with the training of Millwright Apprentices Ensure that machines are stopped if they are operating in an unsafe manner Ensure that the company's quality standards are met and maintained in terms of the efficiency of the company's machinery Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policies and procedures as well as relevant Health and Safety legislation Maintain general house-keeping Any other tasks and duties as assigned. Requirements: N2-N3 Engineering qualification is a must Relevant Trade Test/Red Seal Certificate is a must Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science (passed) as a subject will be advantageous A minimum of 1-3 years' experience within a production environment in a similar role is essential Open to working shifts (night shift and day shift) Willing to work overtime as and when required.
