Your manager should be aware of and support your application. Pre-screening and psychometric evaluation may form part of the selection process. Short listed candidates will be requested to attend a panel interview. Applicants who receive no response to their applications within 14 days my consider their application for the position to be unsuccessful. Assist in the reporting of all normal and abnormal shaft incidents. Liaise with key stakeholders related to specific requests and requirements for shaft operations. Assist in accurate and timeous data capturing. Render assistance as required and instructed by the Control Room Coordinator i.e. control room housekeeping, printing, filing work, time and attendance administration etc. Adhere to working schedules, including overtime and standby. Adhere to and operate within specific operating parameters. Remote stop and start specific equipment under the guidance of the Control room Operator. Monitor equipment and instrumentation performances and escalate non-performance and defects under the guidance of the Control room Coordinator. Failure diagnostic skills. NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults) Blasting certificate/ Trade certificate/ Onsetter or Banksman qualification/ Winding engine driver would be advantageous. At least 3 years' experience within a mining shaft environment. To be discussed
