Description REQUIREMENTS Have a minimum N3 Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Trade Test Certificate Motor Mechanic Valid Master Technician qualification at the dealer level Have 3 years' post-qualification experience in an aftersales workshop environment ESSENTIAL SKILLS Computer literacy (MS Office Suite) Require ODIS and ElsaPro knowledge Operational knowledge of the group's diagnostic equipment (VAS/ VCI) Sound up-to-date knowledge of the group's products Capable of working without supervision to high safety and quality standards Proven technical knowledge and its applications Able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility Be flexible when required to work overtime at short notice Have an unendorsed driver's license (minimum old code 08) RESPONSIBILITIES Servicing and repairing the group's passenger and commercial vehicles Doing all electrical repairs on the group's passenger and commercial models Ensuring road safety through quality workmanship Staying abreast of development by reading workshop bulletins and workshop manuals Ensuring that workshop regulations and safety are adhered to Maintaining a clean working area Training allocated apprentices Assisting with preparing vehicles for press launches Fitment of required accessories to our models Ensuring that all work carried out in the workshop or by the appointed supplier is of the required quality
