Are you ready to make waves in the marine coatings industry? We're seeking a dynamic Forecast & MRP Planner to join our clients' team and drive efficiency and excellence across their operations. As a pivotal member of their team, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, ensuring smooth sailing from forecast to delivery. If you're passionate about logistics, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are ready to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you Responsibilities Forecast and MRP: Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare accurate forecasts. Analyze and present forecasts for review, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Update SAP MRP in real-time based on changing forecasts and order intake. Continuously monitor forecast accuracy and trends, making recommendations for improvement. Drive continual improvement of the forecast mechanism and MRP system. Conduct statistical analysis and reporting to facilitate continuous improvement. Communicate changes and implications to relevant functions. Lead enhancements to the MRP system, ensuring planning visibility for the team. Production Planning: Coordinate weekly turnover projections in consultation with production and supply chain. Prepare and distribute S&OP reports weekly. Serve as the central point of contact for communicating promised delivery dates to customers. Track and report on metrics including OTD and CSDS file checking. Manage master data and BOM generation and maintenance in SAP. Inventory Management: Drive initiatives to optimize working capital. Monitor obsolete stock and manage product phase-outs and end-of-life processes. Project Management: Lead enhancements to the material management system (SAP). Collaborate with Project and Product Management on new product introductions and phase-outs. Participate in strategic operational projects as required. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: 5 years in a production or logistics-related environment. Relevant degree or diploma is preferred. Six Sigma – Green Belt certification is an advantage. Advanced MS Office skills. Strategic thinking and project management skills. Excellent communicator. Expertise in SAP MRP and MM, with forecasting module experience a plus.
