Planning, organising, leading and controlling all aspects and duties assigned to you in order to achieve production standards as well as maintaining product quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards. The ideal candidate would be responsible for: • The planning, organising, leading and control of all aspects and duties assigned to you in order to achieve production standards. • Managing all labour related issues to ensure that all staff members are contributing to the objectives of the company. • The maintaining of day-old chick quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards. • Ensure compliance with Animal welfare and Health and Safety requirements. • Assisting maintenance to reach their goals and objectives. • Assisting management to implement and maintain the 20 Keys programme in the Hatchery. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: • Minimum of a grade 12 education. • Minimum of 5 years hatchery experience. • Passionate, self-motivated and performance driven. • A team player with the ability to manage staff efficiently. • Must be pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently. • Working hours are irregular and include weekend duties and night shift. • Will be required to live on site and be on stand by for breakdowns.
