- Degree or Diploma with proven fundraising capability
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Driverâs license and willing to travel
- 5+ yearsâ experience in fundraising and donor relationship management
- Experience with presentation and public speaking
- An equity candidate is ideally sought
- Candidate MUST reside in Cape Town
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Achieve fundraising target and conduct research to identify potential donors
- Seek donation and reduce operational expenses
- Complete / compile grant applications
- Assist with development strategy and donor stewardship plan
- Assist with promotions, events, and campaigns
- Provide story leads for marketing purposes
