National Hub Manager - South Africa

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics; advanced degree preferred. 11 years of experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain. 8 years of experience in leadership and success in program management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate vision and goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders. Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Ecommerce industry and understanding of relevant policies, regulations, and trends. Responsibilities Strategic Planning : Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure the effective functioning and growth of the national hub in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. Operational Management : Oversee day-to-day operations of the hubs, including staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management. Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and supervise a team of employees to ensure high performance, productivity, and a positive work environment. Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, clients, and community organizations, to foster collaboration and support for the hub's initiatives. Financial Management : Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability of the hubs through effective resource utilization and revenue generation strategies. Project Management : Lead and oversee various projects and initiatives undertaken by the hub, ensuring timely completion, quality deliverables, and adherence to project goals and objectives. Quality Assurance : Implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and outcomes. Risk Management : Identify potential risks and challenges to the hub's operations and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Monitoring and Evaluation : Establish performance metrics and monitoring systems to track progress, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Compliance and Regulations : Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies governing the operations of the national hub. Communication and Reporting : Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, provide updates on the hub's activities, and prepare comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders. Innovation and Growth : Identify opportunities for innovation and expansion, explore new partnerships and collaborations, and drive initiatives to enhance the impact and reach of the national hub. Advocacy and Representation : Serve as a spokesperson and advocate for the hub, representing its interests and promoting its mission and values within the broader community and industry. Continuous Learning and Development : Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the hub's operations, and foster a culture of learning and professional development within the team.
