National Projects and Specifications Representative Capetown Salary: R500 000CTC Duties: Business development Customer focus Proactively calling key stakeholders and specifiers in search of opportunities Assist External Sales Representatives where necessary with customer queries. Analyse markets and professional’s activities to ensure directed focus and implement processes to align with the changes in the marketplace. Frequent calling, and visits on Professionals i.e., Architects, QS, Engineers, and Property Developers) Ensure external sales departments are assisted with: Obtaining Product Specifications Effective Project Information flow with sales. Be responsible for promotional literature and inventory thereof . Website Maintenance. Arranging formal presentations with professional practices. Close monitoring and cooperation with Specifying Techniques. Project Monitoring in conjunction with specifying techniques (website and employee in the region) Manage Monthly Planning and events Assist with information on construction programs and specific project requirements. Resolve Client complaints or queries as quickly as possible. Provide technical information and support to customers and External Sales Representatives. Provide targeted Professionals with updated material, technical information, brochures and samples Knowledgeable of material availability General admin and own filing. Participate in quarterly stocktakes Uphold the company’s code of ethics Minimum Requirements: Matric Certificate Knowledge of Roofing, Sheet Metal Manufacturing and Construction Industry. Computer Literacy is essential (MS Office). Excel Advanced. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 5 years or more work experience in a similar role and working environment. 5 years or more work experience in Sales and Promotions within the Construction Industry. Project Management. Understanding Project Related Sales. Knowledge of Market Pricing advantageous. Quality Assurance. Experience in Quotations and pricing of products. Accuracy and Attention to detail. Organizational Skills. Teamwork and multi-tasking Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking Effective Decision Making Must be able to work under pressure
