National QA Manager - Johannesburg
A well known diagnostic pathology service client is looking for an experienced individual to join their team as a National QA Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Management of QA schemes and national accreditation
- Drive cost effectiveness
- Regular management of the execution of lab technical audits
- Assist with SANAS accreditation
- Assist with quality audits
- Management of health technology assessment unit
- Development of proficiency testing schemes
- Approval of products and services
Must have:
- Matric
- Clear criminal record
- 5 years' experience as a Manager
- 8 years' of lab accreditation and quality management experience
- SANAS Audit training certificate - advantage
- Must have HPCSA registration as Medical Technologist / Scientist / Pathology
- NQF 8 - Health Science or similar
- Must have knowledge of: relevant legislation, QA principles, pathology disciplines, ISO standards
- Advanced knowledge of statistics - Plus
- Leadership skills
- Excellent English communication
- Interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Analytical
- Familiar with Q Pulse quality system database
- Great track record - reference checks will be conducted upfront
