Job & Company Description: A multi-national Investment company is looking for a seasoned Financial Manager to join their ever-growing and dynamic team of finance professionals. This multi-national started in the UK and has branched into almost 3 dozen countries thus far and they are excited for a new Procurement Specialist to join their team The main purpose of the Procurement Specialist is to assist the business in effecting more efficient sourcing processes to save costs and to maximize profitability. They need to negotiate with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices by using strategic sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of their commodity industry. The successful incumbent will report to the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for the following: Obtaining quotes from different suppliers; implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company; providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing; sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships; and assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns.
