Duties:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting deadlines
• Conduct audits of financial statements to provide an independent assessment of an organization's financial health
• Identify and communicate areas for improvement in internal controls and financial processes
• Stay abreast of tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Provide advice on tax planning strategies
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.
• Provide management with financial information for decision-making
• Analyze costs and performance metrics to support operational improvements.
• Identify and assess financial risks
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with risk management policies

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• CTA
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• Completed SAICA articles

Skills & Competencies:

• Work effectively as part of a team
• Take initiative and lead projects or initiatives when opportunities arise
• Embrace new technologies and methodologies in the accounting and finance field
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
