An established fresh produce supply company based in Midrand, has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, qualified Nightshift Warehouse Manager who is fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans and immediately available . Key Responsibilities (But not limited to) Loading and dispatching of trucks Supervision of order picking and packing Receiving of goods Tracking of dispatched trucks Coordinating fleet breakdowns Manage 13 nightshift warehouse staff. Prepare and submit report as per company requirements. Ensure all Warehouse documentation are completed, captured and filed correctly. Ensure nightshift fleet management – route planning, checklist, fuel, mileage refrigeration and all required documentation have been completed correctly. Ensure that the orders for delivery are Quality and Quantity checked by picking staff before being dispatched. Ensure that returns are captured on the system and establish the reason for the returns and communicate with customer where required. Ensure that operations are conducted in a manner that promotes and ensures safety. Comply with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA). Ensure compliance with required Food safety program and ensure checklist have been completed correctly in line with audit requirements. Must do a daily hand over to day shift manager Must be able to drive a Forklift we can arrange training and certification Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required Minimum of 5 years' proven working experience as a Nightshift Warehouse Manager in fresh produce industry – Essential A minimum of 3 years' staff management in the fresh produce industry. Solid experience in logistics document management (e.g. Food safety documentation) Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations. Minimum of 3 years Inventory, Stock and Quality control experience. Computer literate - Must be proficient in MS Office Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel - essential. Must be proficient in using Gmail or Outlook and use calendar. Excellent communication skills. Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans – a requirement. English, speaking, reading and writing skills - Essential Proven problem-solving abilities and work well under pressure with tight deadlines. Other Must have their own reliable vehicle Valid driver's license Must be willing to work the following hours: Sunday night to Friday night. Current working hours are: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6pm – 6am Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday 4:30pm – 4:30am The incumbent will have every alternate Friday night off.
