A private hospital, committed to delivering quality healthcare services to the community, is seeking a dedicated Night Supervisor with proven management experience, to join their team. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Nursing and SANC registered Nursing Administration/Management diploma would be advantageous Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience At least 3 years experience in a supervisory/management position Previous experience in a Private Hospital preferred Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with honesty and integrity Ability to work independently with strong management, planning, and organizing skills at all levels Adaptable with proficient computer literacy (Microsoft Office) Must be flexible and possess a clear understanding of quality Risk Management Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to lead and uphold the healthcare groups vision and values Available for hospital on-call duty and overtime as required Key Outputs: Provide support to Shift leaders and troubleshoot problems effectively Assess patient acuity and liaise with Nursing Service Manager for additional resources as required Monitor SHEQ, IPC, and Quality principles Co-ordinate and audit after-hour admissions, discharges, and stock/medication levels Responsible for issuing medication promptly from the emergency cupboard, following Medication Policies Ensure emergency preparedness across all hospital departments Audit patient files to contribute positively to billing and revenue Effectively manage resources, stock, and medication wastage Conduct regular ward and patient rounds and act as a liaison between departments and stakeholders Delegate tasks efficiently while adhering to patient advocacy principles Facilitate Education and Training initiatives Adhere to and enforce hospital policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
