PURPOSE The main purpose of this position is to provide a professional, and high quality Educare service in the Nursery phase Section, in line with the principles of the Organisation's Educare Centre. To ensure that children develop optimally, providing stimulation and care of the children in a healthy and safe environment. KEY AREAS Assist in providing health care to the children and with basic Health and Safety Support and assist the teacher in the implementation of the learning programme General MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE NQF 1 in ECD Minimum of 2 years' experience KNOWLEDGE ECD education-theory and practical Whole child approach NCF-ELDA's, Principles and Aims SKILLS Observation, verbal reporting, conflict resolution, problem solving, listening, communication skills and Interpersonal skills. Analytical thinking, level headedness, think objectively, innovative, visionary skills, leadership skills, negotiation, persuasiveness, resilience, and perseverance. Organizational, planning skills, execute fairness, commitment to position, effective engagement with others, computer skills PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION OR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS SACE certificate, NCF certificate, first aid certificate (updated every 2 years), basic computer skills Desired Skills: conflict resolution persuasiveness
