As part of our commitment to sustainability and innovation, we are seeking a skilled and motivated O&M Engineer specializing in solar energy to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the rapidly growing field of solar energy. As an O&M Engineer specializing in solar energy, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our solar power plants. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability of our solar installations. This includes conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing maintenance plans, and optimizing system performance to maximize energy output.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on solar power plants to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to solar PV systems, including inverters, modules, trackers, and monitoring systems. Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize energy production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and contractors, to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues effectively. Monitor and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards at all times. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of solar PV systems, preferably in a utility-scale or commercial setting. Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including PV modules, inverters, monitoring systems, and balance of system components. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices for solar O&M. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., NABCEP, OSHA) are a plus.
