My client, a well-established, respected company, is seeking a qualified Occupational / Health and Safety Management with experience within the Civil Engineering industry to join their team. Candidates who meet either of the the following requirements are invited to apply for this position: Completed Programme in Occupational Health and Safety / Construction Health and Safety (NQF Level 3 - 5) or Learnership Certificate in Construction Health and Safety Management (NQF Level 3) or National Diploma in Safety Management or B-Tech in Safety Management / B.Com Operational Risk Management At least 3 years experience with a Civil Engineering company Responsibilities: Implement and monitor health and safety protocols on construction sites to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures. Provide training and guidance to staff on safety procedures and practices. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventative measures. Maintain accurate records and reports on safety performance and incidents. Requirements: Valid qualification(s) in Occupational / Construction Health and Safety Management. Previous experience is essential Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing health and safety in the construction industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
