An opportunity for an experienced OEM TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR is required for permanent employment based in Middelburg. The OEM Training Administrator will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and effective delivery of training programs to support the goals and objectives of the Original Equipment Manufacturer in a dealership environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inductions
  • Internal training initiatives
  • OEM training
  • Set standards and achieve OEM Audit points
  • Ability to persuade / enforce management and employees to comply with training.
  • MERSETA Discretionary grants exp (advantage)
  • Available to travel between dealerships (when required)

Training Program Coordination

  • Organizing and coordinating training programs offered by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for dealerships, service centres, and other stakeholders.

Scheduling

  • Managing the scheduling of training sessions, including arranging dates, venues, and trainers as needed.

Participant Registration

  • Handling the registration process for participants attending training sessions, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Communications

  • Communicating with participants to provide information about upcoming training sessions, including schedules, requirements, and any pre-training materials.

Materials Preparation

  • Assisting in the preparation of training materials, including manuals, presentations, handouts, and audiovisual aids.

Evaluation and Feedback

  • Collecting feedback from participants after training sessions to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Record-Keeping

  • Maintaining accurate records of training attendance, participant feedback, and other relevant data.

Vendor Liaison

  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the OEM and training vendors or external training providers, ensuring alignment with OEM standards and objectives.

Compliance

  • Ensuring that training programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and OEM requirements.

Budget Management

  • Assisting in the management of the training budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance training programs and processes, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Relevant position related qualification/s (adv) (business administration, human resources & training)
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Previous Auto Dealership training administration experience
  • Previous experience in training coordination, administration, in an automotive environment, particularly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) (adv)
  • Mature candidate preferred (adv)
  • Professional work ethic and self-presentation
  • Middelburg residency required (able to relocate to Middelburg)
  • Drivers licence
  • Computer literate
  • Familiarity with automotive industry standards and practices, as well as OEM-specific training programs, may be beneficial.
