The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing support in various areas leading to efficient functioning of the workplace. Focus areas of this role are not limited to day-to-day admin, office maintenance, office supplies, procurement, health and safety, event planning and office gees Job Duties: Running the day-to-day office duties for both offices. Go-to for any office related queries. Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs and periodic maintenance. Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary. Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease. Processing purchase orders. Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time. Organize the office layout, order stationery and equipment. Ensure Health and Safety compliance is implemented in conjunction with the Health and Safety committee. Arranging birthday vouchers and anniversary gifts. Partner with the social committee to maintain the upbeat vibe in the office with planning of team building and social events, encouraging a fun atmosphere and team culture. Promote the company’s reputation as “best place to work” Requirements Completed grade 12 or equivalent. Relevant tertiary level qualification is preferred At least 2 years unbroken experience as an office administrator in a fast-paced environment Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Proven experience with health and safety is essential.
