Our esteemed client, a market leader nestled in the heart of the Western Cape , is on the hunt for a dynamic Operational Finance Manager to drive financial strategies and optimise operational efficiency We have an exciting career opportunity for a self-disciplined, determined and confident Operational Finance Manager who will ensure compliance with financial objectives; co-ordinate professional feedback to customers; establish plans for financial and risk management; analyse financial information and propose solutions for process improvements; interpret financial data; develop and introduce processes, financial models, and measurable targets to achieve business objectives; maintain and improve monthly management packs; review revenue calculation, cashflow forecasts, Capex budget, and conduct ad hoc financial modelling; review internal controls; and manage a small team. Your ability to work independently and accurately in a pressurised environment as well as building interpersonal relationships will be advantageous. Packhouse experience preferred, but will consider Agri too. Might consider FMCG or other if spot on, but not first choice Operational Finance Managers should have a BCom Management Accounting Degree or relevant accounting qualification with CIMA, SAIPA or similar; 5 years relevant experience post articles within an agri / production environment – with 2 years minimum management experience; thorough financial and corporate governance knowledge; proven understanding of interrelationship between financial and operational processes; strong financial modelling skills; and Advanced Excel skills.
