As the Operations Manager of Capital Assignments, you will play a pivotal role in propelling the business forward with vision, inspiration, and the highest standards of professionalism. Your primary objective is to optimise profitability and return on investment through strategic resource allocation and efficiency measures over the long term. Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, you will shoulder the responsibility of nurturing and enhancing the Capital Assignments brand, fostering team growth, and streamlining operational processes. The functional elements that need to be addressed are understood to be the following: Consistent system improvement and streamlining Fully understanding the business and competitors to review what is industry standards and how we can improve. Staying up to date with the advancements in processes and technology to ensure future proofing and preparedness. Acting as a 2IC to the Managing Director in all aspects of the business. Review, understand and implement the platform for staff processes (in line with Capital Assignment standards) including: Role definitions, associated KPA's, PM process, remuneration models & incentives for the sales team. Pipeline and project management, including forecasting coverage for the sales team. Recruit and hire the necessary individuals in line with the growth targets and objectives with the use of outsourced recruiters as required. The development, mentoring and performance management of the relevant individuals pertaining to all company functions and in line with the company's growth targets and objectives. Ensure succession and ongoing implementation of the relevant strategy, processes and activities. Support the team to drive the targets in order to build pipeline to achieve the budgeted targets while using outsourced resources to streamline processes. In line with the above, the Operations Manager's job consists of several discrete components: Achieving the sales results through development of assigned territories Assigning of targets, accounts and/or territory in partnership with team and director Project management of all search assignments Regular review of the Gap at an individual level and managing the pipeline Involvement in the strategy of major sales and building the plan to close. Managing what's in the forecast and adjusting as necessary. Managing the financials – debtors, cash flow, etc. Ensuring that the necessary sales support is provided. Ensuring that customers are consistently delighted with the levels of service provided by Capital Assignments. Ensuring that quality, standards, procedures, and processes are consistently adhered to. Training and development of new and existing staff with an emphasis on personal development (including their own). Brief summary of duties: Financial Management: In conjunction with the Director and Accountant: Debtors, Creditors, and annual training reports submission. Reporting: Prepare reports on sales, cash flow and special projects. Marketing: Manage outsourced design and marketing resources and creating collateral, where necessary, for all special project and events marketing material. Manage the preparation by external resources of adverts for candidates or positions to be marketed via social media and other relevant advertising platforms and increase brand awareness. Liaise with Marketing resources to ensure strong social media and digital marketing presence. Maintenance: Resolve all IT concerns and issues & liaise with service providers. Ensure all office maintenance issues are resolved. (OM) Human Resources: Supervise office staff as required. Sales team booyah, weekly and quarterly planning. Recruit new staff and manage the complete process including advertising, screening (with use of external recruiters where appropriate), interviewing, trial day preparation admin will be OM job), induction and training. Training: Monitor skills development needs/gaps and implement relevant training programmes. Ensure updated knowledge of software programmes and where required provide training to staff Apply Now
