Create, implement, and manage operational strategy for a leading logistics solutions business. Manage general cargo, bulk, container stack, transport services, internal and external warehousing facilities, planning and operations, reporting to the GM. Minimum Requirements 5 years experience in senior management capacity, and strong experience in port operations with a strategic view on various business models and cargo handling methods. Budgeting at senior management level. Warehousing, transport, and depot management. Stevedoring experience (breakbulk and citrus) is a pre-requisite. Bulk handling would be advantageous. Sound knowledge of perishables (citrus handling experience) and general cargo protocols. Relevant tertiary qualification a strong advantage Exposure to contract management of operational service providers including labour. Adhere to and manage labour and service providers cost budgets. Compile annual and five-year budgets for all operational services. Manage customer interface and accounts.
