Operations Manager (Permanent) - East London
Job Purpose: The role is responsible for all the operational aspects of running the mall and the management of all cores operational staff, including handymen, service providers etc. The role will require one to work weekends, public holidays and after hours as and when required due to operational matters needing attention. Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor’s degree or similar. Proven track record of operations management and performance management in a retail centre management environment. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the property facilities management industry. Skills & Knowledge Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent leadership abilities. Excellent time management skills. Excellent conflict management skills. Excellent project management skills. Proficiency in the management of relevant operations management systems. Proficiency in the retail space. Ability to organize, coordinate, and direct team activities. Ability to build working relationships at all levels. Deadline orientated and results driven. MS Office: MS Word – Intermediate MS Excel – Intermediate MS Outlook – Intermediate MS PowerPoint – Intermediate Provide effective operations management of property and facilities. Finance Staff Management Ensure Health and Safety compliance. Business Management Mostly office based, limited travelling may be required.
