A new venture within this organisation aims to revolutionise the cleaning industry by leveraging technology to connect unemployed women with cleaning opportunities while prioritising fair wages, skills development and well-being. Their mission is to create a platform that not only facilitates job opportunities but also fosters personal and professional growth for women from marginalised communities. They also provide the mothers they work with access to an ecosystem of support, including trauma counselling. How you'll role As the Commercial Director you will possess a deep understanding of and empathy for the challenges faced by unemployed and under-employed women. You will have a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and a passion for driving meaningful impact. What you'll do Develop and execute the business strategy for the business, aligning with the company's mission and values Build and inspire a diverse team to achieve organisational goals and objectives Oversee the financial management of the venture, ensuring sustainability and responsible resource allocation Cultivate partnerships and secure capital to support the growth and expansion of the company Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organisation, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community members, partners, and funders Collaborate with the current CEO while having full autonomy in growing and developing business What you'll need Track record of raising capital Experience working in the tech industry, with a good understanding of digital platforms and tools Strong experience in leadership roles, with a track record of bringing ideas to life and driving growth Demonstrated understanding of and empathy for the challenges faced by unemployed and under-employed individuals, particularly women of colour Passionate about purpose-driven work and committed to making a positive impact in the community Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders High capacity with an ownership mindset Focused and accountable to deliver against key objectives A collaborative and inclusive leadership style Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to take initiative and adapt to change Salary R65,000 - R80,000 per month (negotiable based on experience) Apply Now
