The Oracle Developer will be responsible for understanding the data requirements of the new SAP ERP system, extracting relevant SCM data from the Oracle database, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data transfer . Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders and the new ERP implementation team (SAP) to understand data requirements and mapping for SCM modules. Analyse existing Oracle SCM data structures, tables, and relationships to identify relevant data for extraction . Data Extraction and Transformation: Develop SQL queries and scripts to extract SCM data from Oracle database tables, views, and custom objects. Transform and cleanse extracted data as needed to align with the data format and structure of the new SAP ERP system . Data Quality and Integrity: Perform data quality assessments and validation checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of extracted SCM data. Resolve data discrepancies, anomalies, and errors through data cleansing and reconciliation processes . Documentation and Reporting: Document data extraction processes, methodologies, and transformation rules for future reference and auditability. Generate reports and documentation to communicate data extraction status, issues, and resolutions to project stakeholders .
