Brother CISA Pty Ltd is an international chemicals manufacturing and part of the Brother Technology Group of Companies (China). The Brother CISA head office and factory is in Newcastle - KZN, while its customer services & Logistics department, where this position is based, is in Sandton, Gauteng. Brother CISA is the only manufacturer of chrome chemicals in South Africa and the African continent, exporting over 95% of its production to over 100 ports in over 50 contries. Process sales contracts, orders, deliveries, and shipping orders timeously and accurately in SAP. Review and ensure that Letters of Credit and Bank Collection Documents are accurate, complete and can be complied with. Select and arrange booking of a suitable shipping vessel/road transport to meet the customer's requested delivery date. Keep the sales teams, agents and customers informed of the order/shipment status including provision of up-to-date weekly (and adhoc) shipping schedules, as well as immediate communication of significant delays/changes in sailing schedules. Review draft bills of ladings for accuracy and completeness and approve. Timely preparation and compilation of export/shipping documents. Timely dispatch of export/shipping documents so that customers can take delivery of shipments without delay. Liaise with 3PL service providers with regards to vessel bookings and road transport. Liaise with the plants and customers regarding local order collections and deliveries. Liaise with the finance department and sales managers to resolve credit blocks. Monitor the shipment progress from dispatch to arrival at destination port. Update SAP with the relevant information as the shipment progresses. Assist with resolving any shipping and billing related queries from sales, agents and/or customers. Document/records management. Tertiary qualification in Shipping/Logistics/Operations/Supply Chain Management or Equivalent. At least 2 years hands-on experience handling sea export orders. At least 1-year hands on experience working with letters of credit. SAP experience. Good MS Excel skills. Good spoken and written English and Mandarin. Good interpersonal, communication, coordination, collaboration, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills. Apply Now
