Datacentrix Managed Talent Solutions' client in the Mining sector is looking for OT Implementation Technician to join their fast paced team. The role will be Hybrid. The successful candidate must have experience in implementation and tracking of OT technical system projects in company with a focus on leading the Plan and Build activities of demands, initiatives and projects. Must be willing to travel to various client sites as and when required.Requirements:Explain technical solutions to non-technical staff.Stay abreast of advances in technology, especially Industrial IT (OT) NetworkingReview project activities for compliance with procedures and standards.Play a lead role in the development and implementation of Systems in area of responsibility.Contributing to technical strategy, policy, and procedures for IM.Production of technical and architectural documentation to agreed quality standards.Reporting on progress/issues to management and users.Monitoring and responding to issues.Delivering on project plans.Technician training and skill transfersAnalysis of current and future processes/systems.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Maintain professionalism, good attitude, and appropriate behavior with IIT personnel, clients, and vendors.Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly workplace/office.Servers 2016 and 2016 ExperienceWindows 10 desktop supportCisco switch ConfigurationWireless technology experienceStrong understanding of OT infrastructures especially Networking, Mesh networks, RF networksStrong understanding of OT Network architecturesSystem analysis and integration.Orchestrate documentation of procedures, standards, and activities.Information processing principles, methods, and proceduresAdvanced knowledge of Cisco / Wireless Mesh architecturesAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Servers,Propose workable solutions and improvements.Perform standard system installations with minimal supervision.Operate a variety of related Server, Software, LAN, and WAN equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, hardware, and network problems.Communicate effectively orally and in writing.Ability to effectively use judgement.Ability to lead, develop and motivate other team players.Microsoft Operating System installations, configurations, and supportHyper-V cluster configurations, designs, and supportAnti-Virus experience in support, design, and configuration (prefer Trend Micro, Symantec, McAfee)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft, Citrix, Backup solutions (NetBackup, Backup Exec), Security Architectures.Operate a variety of related Server, Software, LAN, and WAN equipment.Windows 10 desktop support Must HaveCisco switch Configuration Must Have Wireless technology experience Must Have See Description See Description
