Please note: Only emailed applications are accepted. The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the packing operations and ensuring efficient and accurate packaging of products. This role involves supervising a team of packers, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining quality control standards. The Packaging Supervisor: supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment: Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements. Packaging Supervisor responsibilities are:Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity. Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. Perform verification of production output according to specifications. Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to sentior managers.Advantageous skills:- Past experience in the FMCG/Baking/pharmaceutical industry- Experience leading a team- Management experience- ISO 9001 experience- Strong knowledge in document control (SOP management)- Batch book administration- Health & Safety experience- Strong training and Development experience- Maintenance experience- Strong reporting and communication skills- Quality control experience- Auditing experience- Preventative maintenance experience- Stock taking and stock software experience- Hazmat spill containment experience- Engineering degree - High level administration skills- MS Office competence- Three solid references- Forklift experience- HR admin experience- Drivers licence- Willing to work over time when/if necessary
