Job Overview: We are looking for a mid-level Data Engineer with solid data analysis skills to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our data systems, building reports and dashboards, and providing accurate data to guide strategic decisions. About the role: Data Pipeline Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity. Facilitate smooth data integration via data connectors and 3rd party APIs from diverse sources, including e-commerce platform, CRM, advertising platforms and more Data Quality Management: Implement and maintain systems to monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy Identify and resolve data accuracy and integrity issues promptly Improve performance and usability of current data systems Steer the direction of the companys continually evolving data strategy, identifying opportunity areas for growth and improvement, to ensure we are fully harnessing the potential of our data Data Presentation and Visualisation: Develop, maintain, and optimise dashboards and reports in Tableau and HubSpot, providing clear visibility into key business metrics Analyse and interpret data to inform strategic decisions for the business Respond to ad hoc data requests from the CMO and other members of the leadership team Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions Communicate solution proposals clearly and succinctly to stakeholders Offer technical support and expertise in data-related matters to team members About you: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5 years of experience in data engineering and analysis Proficiency in the following areas: Data connector: Fivetran Data Warehouse: Google BigQuery Data visualisation and Business Intelligence: Tableau, Google Looker Studio Programming Languages: Python, SQL Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Employee benefits: Attractive salary package Flexible working schedule 20 days of annual leave (prorated), plus additional time off at Christmas Quarterly bonuses of 10%, contingent on revenue goals We will provide laptop and other tools necessary for the job Must haves and remuneration: The key here is familiarity with our tech stack.
