Your Talent A payroll, finance or related diploma or tertiary qualification At least four years experience in payroll processing, administration and related payroll finance processing, preferably within a retail environment PaySpace payroll experience preferable, with required experience in payroll software Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel at intermediate level. Knowledge of ZA payroll legislation, compliance requirements and taxation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, assess changing demands, and meet deadlines. Ability to communication effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing Ability to handle confidential information discretely A problem solver with an analytical mindset able to collaborate with others on projects and finding solutions. Your Mission We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our P&O Team and administer the end to end payroll process. This position is based at our Head Office in Atlantic Hills, and will include the monthly payroll processing, as well as compliance, taxation, benefits administration, reporting and monthly account and general ledger processing. The Payroll Administrator will value data accuracy and confidentiality, and the protection of information. They will be responsible for data management and reporting, as well as being involved in audits and reviews. The Payroll Administrator will have a strong attention to detail, and will have the ability to communicate with all levels of staff regarding the payroll function and any queries that may arise. The Payroll Administrator will also collaborate with the P&O team on systems and technology used within the department, always looking to improve on current practices and processes.
