Our client, a reputable firm based in Johannesburg North, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Personal & Commercial Underwriter to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique chance to leverage your expertise in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and underwriting personal and commercial insurance applications
• Evaluating risk and determining appropriate coverage terms and conditions
• Liaising with insures brokers, agents, and clients to gather necessary information and provide underwriting decisions
• Ensuring compliance with RE, FAIS, and COB regulations
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Personal & Commercial Underwriter
• RE (Regulatory Exam) certification
• FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services) accreditation
• COB (Class of business )
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
