JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Management of all home photography requirements: Marketing (Campaign, Catalogues, Digital content) & eCommerce (Product & Lifestyle) All eCommerce product photography across homeware & furniture division, with particular focus on: image quality, post production, online availability process & score. Shooting additional imagery, video content, gifs etc. on all home campaign shoots in order to create additional content to be shared across channels. Coordinating weekly agile shoots to showcase new product in the business, capitilise on trends, build lifestyle photography archive for eCommerce product. Management of key photography processes, post production process and external agency (SBL), plus any freelancers brought in to assist with workload capacity to prevent bottle-necks. Set up lighting, studio curves and style shoot machines prior to all shoots. Use of various photographic techniques to achieve effects and quality. Capture subjects in commercial - trend related quality photographs. Enhance the subject's appearance with natural or artificial light. Retouch, code and upload all images from shoots to server. Conduct workshops seasonally to update & research eCommerce photography and video for brands. Direct and assist the "startup phase" for new freelance photographers. Managing and overseeing post production of all images from all shoots. Working together with the retouchers to ensure all images are of the highest quality. Bi-weekly meetings with creative & design manager for feedback and input on bettering shoots, lighting and structure of studio. Training, management of freelancers/additional photographers - set up "test" shoots & retouching of images. Qualifications and Experience: Photographic degree or similar 5 Years experience in similar role Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Capture one, Lightroom Driver's License & own car required Skills: Proven professional product & lifestyle shooting experience. Proficient with traditional and modern equipment. Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques. Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One, Lightroom or other photography specific software. Knowledge of production process for online publishing and video printing applications. Organised: Ability to juggle multiple tasks.
