MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma / Degree in animal production
- Minimum of 5 years previous pig farm management experience
- Energetic and a positive attitude
- Strong animal husbandry ability
- Proven AI ability
- Computer literate
- Strong administrative background
- Ability to work well within a team
- Customer communication
- Collection, evaluation, and dilution of boar semen
- General farming operations
- General farm maintenance & security
- Laboratory work and management
- Boar house management
- Overseeing semen collection
- Orders, stock management, and general admin
- Maintaining herd health and biosecurity
- Admin and record-keeping
- Staff management
