RPO Recruitment is currently hiring a Planning Specialist for a client in need of top talent for their planning department. As a Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective planning strategies to optimize business operations and improve efficiency. Your expertise in forecasting, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential in driving the success of the company's planning initiatives. Responsibilities Develop and implement planning strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency Analyze market trends, consumer demands, and internal data to forecast future needs and requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning efforts with other departments and ensure smooth workflow Monitor and evaluate the performance of planning strategies and make necessary adjustments as needed Identify areas for process improvement and develop and implement solutions to enhance planning effectiveness Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to planning and incorporate them into the planning process Provide guidance and support to the planning team, ensuring their development and success Requirements Diploma in production planning or CPIM Min. 2 years of production planning experience. Experience in food, food technology or FMCG company is an asset. Excellent communication skills in English. Professional experience in SAP/ R3 PP/PI is an asset. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs. Excellent verbal and written skills in English. Effective time management and planning. Rational decision-making, negotiating and influencing skills. An analytical work style. Being able to work collaboratively with other departments.
