As the Plant Controller you will be responsible for the below:

Generate monthly management reports with recommendations to empower the business management team to make proactive adjustments to reduce costs effectively.
Define and develop reports focusing on plant performance for comprehensive reporting.
Coordinate and collect annual cost center budgets, utilizing SAP models for calculating budgeted unit costs.
Prepare Rolling Forecast and monthly estimated costs for strategic planning.
Take ownership of the World Class Manufacturing Cost Deployment Pillar.
Monitor, manage, and provide accurate reporting on Product Costing (Standard Costs & Actual Costs) to facilitate informed business decisions.
Conduct cost simulations and furnish unit costs for new products to support precise pricing decisions by the product team.
Ensure the establishment of annual standard costs for all products.
Apply cost accounting systems and procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Perform cost analysis and production variance analysis to identify and address anomalies.
Standardize costing processes and procedures within Gyproc to achieve efficiency and consistency.
Continuously review costs, identifying opportunities for savings to drive overall cost reduction.
Ensure accurate K2 Financial Data Reporting for benchmarking with other SG entities.
Coordinate the monthly preparation of the Cost of Factors file, enabling proactive cost management in the plants.
Participate actively in Operations Management meetings.
Drive compliance of business controls within the plant leadership team.
Participate in inventory counts, review inventory scrapping, and adjustments to ensure compliance with business controls and minimize such activities.
Coordinate SAP CO month-end closure.
Revalue Finished Goods inventory to actual values.
Handle adhoc exercises as required by management.
Ensure strict adherence to the Quality, Environmental Health, and Safety requirements of the Organization.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Bcom in Accounting and related field.
5+ years experience in a similar role in finance.
