Purpose of the position:
To provide accurate administration, collection of documentation and good feedback to the relevant manager within strict deadlines on a daily, weekly, monthly basis.
Minimum Requirements for the role.
- Matriculated individuals
- 2 to 3 years Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality experience.
- NOSA SAMTRAC Safety Management Certificate and/or National Diploma Safety Management would be an advantage.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer on behalf of the PM, the SHE and SEMP reports on a monthly basis.
- Administer on behalf of the PM, the Sustainability report on a monthly basis.
- Monitor progress of CCAR reports submitted and give feedback at safety meetings.
- Ensure that documentation for non-serious near miss reports/foreman checklist are accurate, collected and reported on time.
- Document all incident investigations and keep records for the site.
- Ensure that all GAP and GMP filing, records, updates are maintained on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis.
- Maintain and record all permits and CORs against expiry dates.
- Track, organize and record all training and the relevant certification on the site.
- Ensure documentation filing for safety compliance as per GAP.
- Maintain records of all HIRAs on the register and update monthly.
- Record minutes (and act as secretary) in all H&S meetings, Cell meetings.
- Ensure the issuing, controlling and recording of all work permits.
- Maintain records of all non-compliances for customers and contractors.
- Maintain local Foreman and Supervisor PQS inspection files and keep records.
- Administrate materials in accordance with GAP and GMP.
- Updating of SOP files and update SOP register. Minute and communicate all new and existing SOPs with staff during SHEQ and Cell meetings.
- Tracking and keeping up to date of all delegation of duties. Ensure delegation of duties training is up to date and maintained.
- Assist with the tracking and progress of SHEQ objectives as indicated in the Service Centre SHEQ plan.
- Assist with the investigation of Injuries/Incidents. Updating Injury/Incident Register and ensuring the relevant meetings discuss latest issues.
- Tracking of BSI trend analysis and raising re-occurring issues in SHEQ meeting
- Assist with Spill, Fire and Accident simulation and assist with Forklift safety issues.
- Oversee communication and day to day safety requirements for the Safety Files for PM area of responsibility.
