The Sheiham programme is seeking to appoint several pre-PhD interns or PhD fellows wishing to do a PhD in the area of social determinants of heath. The successful candidates will conduct their PhDs in one of the following thematic areas: Nurses’ wellbeing and mental health Sexual health of older adults Migration and health through the lens of intersectionality Family interventions to support individuals with serious mental illness relevant masters’ degree (e.g., public health, sociology, epidemiology, biostatistics, demography) must be attached in the application. You are expected to have excellent writing and conceptual skills and for some of the lists topics you will have good statistical skills. We offer a dynamic environment in which to conduct cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary research; to engage in national & international debates; and to learn the skills necessary to successfully publish your research.
